175th Death Anniversary of Dwarakanath Tagore
Sadharan Brahmo Samaj organized a webinar on Dwarakanath Tagore to commemorate his 175th death anniversary on 1st August, 2021. Speakers were Prof. Shaktisadhan Mukhopadhyay, Shri Anup Matilal, Shri Subhojit Sarkar, Smt. Ranjini Dasgupta and Smt. Manashi Barua, Shri Amit Das conducted the webinar.

Swadesh Bhushan Chakraborty, son of Late Satya Bhushan Chakraborty and Kadambini Chakraborty, husband of Smt. Manjusha Chakraborty, father of Shri Sagar Chakraborty & Smt. Shatabdi Chakraborty expired on 22nd July, 2021 at the age of 85 years after a brief illness.
The Adya Sraddha ceremony of late Swadesh Bhushan Chakraborty was held on Sunday, 1st August 2021 at his residence at Bagnan, Vill – Khadinan, Dist-Howrah, Pin – 711303. Shri Sourav De conducted the divine service as also read out from scriptures. Hymns were rendered by Shri Supratim Chakrabarty, Smt. Sumana Mukherjee and Shri Sankar Prasad Mitra. A short life sketch of late Swadesh Bhushan Chakraborty was read out by his daughter Smt. Shatabdi Chakraborty.

Swapna Roy, daughter of late Prabhas Kar & late Manikuntala Kar, wife of Shri Sujit Roy expired on 4th August, 2021 after a brief illness. The Adya Sraddha ceremony of late Swapna Roy was held on 07.08.2021 and 08.08.2021 at her residence at 171/2D, A. J. C. Bose Road, Kolkata – 700014. The divine services were conducted by Shri Pranab Roy and Dr. Amitava Khastagir. Hymns were rendered by Shri Supratim Chakrabarty and Smt. Elora Chakrabarty. Smt. Mita Ghosh and Smt. Nandita Mukherjee, relatives of the deceased paid tributes. Smt. Riti Roy Betai, daughter of the deceased paid her tributes from U.S.A. through video phone. A short life sketch of late Swapna Roy written by her younger son Shri Anuranjan Roy was read out by her elder son Shri Dibbanjan Roy.
